PPE - Mask, Eye Wear, Gown
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is essential for safe work practices, protecting both the wearer and those around them from potential infection. Tool Mate Fluids are a PPE supplier, with products including face masks, eye wear and protective clothing.
Face masks are a precautionary measure to protect against the spread of germs such as coronavirus when someone coughs or sneezes. We supply both 3-ply surgical masks and N95 face masks (also called P2 or KN95), which are medical-grade masks. Note the N95 face masks are reserved for use by essential workers during the COVID-19 outbreak.
For full PPE coverage, our eye wear will shield eyes from airborne virus transmission or potential splashes of fluid, providing a water-tight seal, with breathability and anti-fogging properties, while our PPE suits (full length gowns or coveralls) will provide complete clothing protection.
Note: The following respirator classes, from various countries and regions, all have approximately 94-95% filtration efficiency, are designed to form a seal with the face, and may be considered to be functionally similar for most uses against non-oil airborne particles:

Mask - Surgical 3 ply
Coronavirus primarily spreads when someone breathes in droplets containing virus that are produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes or when a person touches a contaminated surface and then touches their eyes, nose, or mouth.
But people who are infected but do not have symptoms, or have not yet developed symptoms, can also infect others.
That's where masks come in as precaution measure to protect others and protect yourself.

Mask - N95/P2/KN95
N95 mask are recommended for high risk areas, crowded areas.
While N95 masks are the most effective, these medical-grade masks are in short supply and should be reserved for healthcare workers, hospitals, police, border security, bus drivers, essential cleaning contractors for commercial buildings that are acting as isolation spots.

Eye Wear
Eye Protection is recommended by The Department of Health.
Protective eye wear should be worn in case of splashing and airborne virus.

Disposable Gown
In high risk area of contamination with respiratory secretions or other body fluid, it is recommended by The Department of Health that cleaners should wear a full length disposable gown / coverall in addition to the surgical mask, eye protection and gloves.
